Parodies

Having read Dave Greenburg’s parodies of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” choose your favorite children’s story / fairy tale and refashion it in the voice of an author studied this year. This assignment will not only stretch you creatively, but also help you hone your analytical skills and ability to decipher tone, style, and a host of rhetorical devices employed (and potentially favored) by your respective authors.

You should submit a hardcopy of your story and a 1 page rationalization of your choices that illustrates an understanding of your respective author's style and literary tics at the start of class.
