Faulkner Culled Poem

“Words culled with the choicest art, yet they flow with rapidity and unparalleled eloquence” (Frankenstein 16)

Premise: Certain lines in a piece of literature “speak” to the reader, and these lines express the core or universal ideas of a piece of writing. Review William Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury and determine what lines are important to you. You will then “recast” these lines into a “culled poem.”

Please post your poem by 10:00am on Fri. 12/6.  Labels: "Faulkner Culled Poem" and Your Name.
